(TOI Photo)A rocking party was organised by the Future group of companies, better known for their flagship brand Pantaloons Retail India Ltd and Big Bazaar, to celebrate the launch of Hometown- India's first Home Improvement Store offering ���end-to-end solutions��� for your home. Hometown also marks the entry of future group in the services business.
Apart from the city���s who���s who, the retailing king of India, Kishore Biyani, Group Chief Executive Officer of Future Group was also present.

Explaining the concept of the showroom Biyani said, ���Owning a home has always been the ultimate Indian dream. Currently, consumers have to visit multiple stores and markets, while building a home and have to often rely on advice from unqualified sources. Home Town will address this concern by providing a single point destination for all their needs to build, equip and decorate their homes.���
Other senior officials of the company also made an appearance at the do including Mayur Toshniwal, CEO- North Zone and Mahesh Shah, CEO Home Town and Kavita Palekar, Marketing Manager, Hometown.
On their choice of Lucknow, Mahesh Shah said, ���On the sheer basis of UPs population we have introduced this store in Lucknow. Now UP has two Hometown stores- one in NOIDA and the second in Lucknow. Also, Lucknow has been evolving and that also made us zero in on Lucknow.���
And as all these corporate biggies mingled with the local big-wigs, an awesome fireworks display enthralled the guests.
The foot tapping music soon saw the dance floor full of party hearties shaking a leg to latest hits.
